TEC Automation began service in 1994 as a custom machine builder serving the Southeastern US manufacturing and consumer goods communities. With several hundred machines completed, the TEC management team augmented the solutions offered by the company by adding robotic systems and flexible automation to the company repertoire. When combined with the solid history and team experience in machine design and build, the flexible and programmable machines and robotic systems supplied by TEC today are guaranteed to be among the best available anywhere.
As the North American economy and industrial base has changed, so has TEC. Our system and machine solutions are focused on the consumer goods, energy generation and delivery, and medical device markets.
For example, while we build a substantial portion of our solutions for the manufacture of industrial hard goods, we have responded to the demand for end-of-line packing and palletizing of consumer goods with the development of our line of pre-engineered robotic solutions. Similarly, to address the needs of the energy market, TEC has developed pre-engineered machining systems for the manufacture of oil field equipment, turbine blades and wind generator gearing using Robotmaster off line programming and development software.
Our OptiView controller is our latest offering – it is our standardized robot cell and material handling system controller.
As our history evolves with the market demands, our approach to developing and creating cost-effective automation systems also changes.
