The process must be organized before it can be automated.  This organization effort starts with the parts – what they look like, their physical attributes and how they behave in an automation system.

Many of our TEC part feeders are at work in machine shops to present parts for the automatic loading and unloading of machine tools.

A few examples include TEC feeders supplied to automotive parts manufacturers to present parts to robotic dispensing systems, hand tool manufacturers to feed raw castings into machining operations, as replacements to or improvements on traditional work stockers in machine shops and to sort and present tubing to assembly machines.

TEC part feeding technologies include

  • Shuttles – manual or automatic, a single unit to many arranged in single device
  • Rotary tables – manual or automatic
  • Bowl feeders
  • Inline vibratory feeder
  • Pallet based shelf units
  • Fixtured conveyors
  • Vision system based for robotic guidance

TEC both manufactures original units and sources and modifies part feeders to suit a host of applications and part types.
