Some applications require individual products to be rotated 90 degrees during the material handling process. TEC manufactures bump turn conveyors for the seamless rotation of products.
The bump can be fixed, or on a pneumatic cylinder to allow some product to pass through without being rotated. Activated roller belt technology is used to reduce friction while the product is turning and also to justify the product back to one edge of the conveyor after the turn is complete.
The bump turn conveyor is most often used in palletizing and packaging applications.
