TEC’s range of robotic dispensing solutions are used by manufacturers who wish to apply liquid materials to a part in order to create a seal, a low friction surface, a bond or to coat a surface. The systems include the equipment to deliver the material through a nozzle to the part, part fixtures, cure ovens or dryers and the robot itself.

Each case is different
- we may carry the part to the dispensing nozzle or the nozzle to the part, apply 1-component or 2-component materials and use any number of dispensing system technologies to get the job done.  The robotic approach to dispensing allows for tremendous flexibility in bead application speed and thickness – so we can dial the system in to the requirements – and exacting bead placement accuracy. A robot also allows the cell to run a family of parts and paths or routines without shutting the system down or changing hardware. When using a robot, we get optimal use of material and consistent results.

Often we combine material handling robots with the dispensing robot to create a complete cell that manages workflow from a preceding process through the application of the material to pack out.  For example, we can use a robot to remove a fresh part from a press and hand this part off to a dispensing robot to apply a seal; and a third robot to pick the completed part and pack it into a shipping container.
